The inspiration behind this piece is the story of the Adam and Eve. The first 2 human beings on this planet, created by God with pure hearts. However through human desire, a serpent, and the infamous piece of fruit, these 2 humans doomed all of humanity to a world full of sin and tainted hearts. Banished from the garden and facing (quite literally) the naked truth, they had to make their way through a world that was now facing immense darkness, as we are to this day. The resilience of humanity, and the sliver of purity and goodness in people’s hearts is ever proceeding to this day. Although we live in a damaged world, the goodness of life and love is still out there, even if it takes awhile to see.
